Description
We're a children's nursery based on a working farm in the village of Stapleton, near Darlington. We provide day care for children aged six weeks to school age and are rated as 'outstanding' by our regulator. The nursery is divided into four rooms reflecting the ages and development of the children. We have an outstanding outdoor area with mud kitchen, children’s theatre, pirate ship and garden for planting fruit and vegetables. There's also a mini-farm where children can safely interact with pigs, cattle, chickens and goats, as well as a Forest School led by a nationally accredited Forest School professional. In our Ofsted report both the teaching and behaviour of the children was described as outstanding.
